Penacova Swimrun is our new #swimrun destination for 2024!

Located in an great natural beauty area, the municipality of Penacova is endowed with a huge network of unique pedestrian paths, with a huge offer of forest paths and single tracks along the banks of the Mondego River, which makes this place A privileged destination to embrace our sport.

The natural conditions of this territory located right in centre of Portugal, as well as proximity to Coimbra and availability of hotel supply, are preponderant factors in the capture of participants of the sport for this region.

The course has several forays on stunning trails that surround the entire Mondego River bend, with the main points of interest to Reconquinho Beach, the Miradouro Penedo do Castro, the Mirante Emídio da Silva, the Moinhos de Gavinhos and the iconic Livraria do Mondego.

The organization of this stage has the support of Penacova Municipality, and will also include ithe “Swimrun Kids” format, thus giving the little ones the little to contact our sport, having the opportunity to share this new experience with those your partners.
